It is only a tiny rosebud,
a flower of Allah's design.
But I cannot unfold the petals with these clumsy hands of mines...
The secret of unfolding petals is not known to you or I...
As it is Allah who opens the flower so sweetly
and in my hands they die...
If I cannot unfold a rosebud, this flower of Allah's design
Then how can I have the wisdom to unfold this life of mine?
So I will trust Allah for leading me in every moment of my day..
I will look to Allah for His guidance every step of the way...
The pathway that lies before me, it is only Allah that knows...
I will trust Him to unfold my every moment, just as he unfolds the rose...
