10 Wonderful Reasons to be grateful to your mother...

1. Your mother carried you for 9 months bearing pain upon pain.
2. During this time, she could not eat becuase of you! She could not sleep because of you!
3. When you were a baby, she spent every minute of her life looking after you!
4. She only slept when you slept! She only ate after you had eaten!
5. She was patient and loved you even when you cried all night and when you cried all day !
6. She taught you how to walk, how to speak, how to eat, she taught you how to live!
7. When you fall ill, she looks after you!
8. She always cooks and prepared food for you !
9. She buys you whatever you ask for !
10. She loves you unconditionally !

These are just a few things that our Mothers do for us; they do so much more of which we do not know about. However, one thing that your Mother does for you, that nobody else in the world does, is that she worries about you from the bottom of her Heart. So what is it she really worries about...?
She WORRIES about your food!
She WORRIES about your clothes!
She WORRIES about your health!
She WORRIES about your education!
She WORRIES about your future!
She WORRIES about your whole life !

Even when we are old and weak we should still be looking after our mothers for this is an order from Allah. He taught us to be gentle and say kind words to them in a nice manner. If our mothers has asked us to a something, it being a chore, or whatever it may be...if we utter the word "Oof..." then Allah will not accept that chore from us. By paying back our mothers favour, by being kind, loving and dutiful towards them is the absolute minimum that we can do!
So you want to hear about the 10 Easy peasy ways to enter Jannah...:
1. LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER
2. HELP YOUR MOTHER
3. SMILE AT YOUR MOTHER
4. BE THANKFUL TO YOUR MOTHER FOR WHATEVER SHE DOES FOR YOU
5. SPEND TIME WITH YOUR MOTHER
6. ALWAYS ASK YOUR MOTHER IF YOU CAN HELP HER WITH ANYTHING
7. BUY YOUR MOTHER GIFTS
8. BE GOOD TO YOUR MOTHER’S FAMILY AND FRIENDS
9. STUDY HARD AND LEAD A GOOD LIFE SO THAT YOUR MOTHER IS HAPPY
10. ALWAYS PRAY FOR YOUR MOTHER, ESPECIALLY AFTER EVERY SALAAH.

Not much to ask for is it?? We will only truly realise the value of our mothers when they are no longer with us – when they have passed away, but then it will be too late! So let us not adapt to the attitudes that we find our cultures sadly into, where mothers are nothing more than serving girls and the fathers are nothing more than errand boys...

Did you know that disobeying parents leads to Punishments in the Grave?

The greatest sin after assosiating partners with Allah is disobedience. Need proof? Read the following Hadith:
Abu Bakr narrated that the Prophet(PBUH) asked that should he not warn them against the three major sins? All of them said, “Certainly, O Prophet!” He then said, “To ascribe partners with Allah, to disobey the parents.” Getting up. As he was reclining, he said, “To tell a lie or to give false evidence.” He went on repeating his words for such a long time that we wished him to be silent. (Bukhari and Muslim)
and...
It is narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said, “Allah postpones the punishment for one’s sins till the Day of Judgment if He so desires. But He award the punishment for disobeying the parents during this life, before his death."
...meaning that the children who have been disobedient to his or her parents will be punished twice once in this life and a second time in the hereafter.
You've probably heard countless of times before about the following hadith:
A man came to Allah’s Apostle and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! Who is more entitled to be treated with the best companionship by me?” The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Your mother.” The man said. “Who is next?” The Prophet said, “Your mother.” The man further said, “Who is next?” The Prophet said, “Your mother.” The man asked for the fourth time, “Who is next?” The Prophet said, “Your father. ” (Bukhari)
why is it that in Islam, it is emphasised on us to love and obey our mothers so much? I know what u may be thinking...
My mother is not a Prophet, nor is she an angel...she is just like a normal human like you and I...does she really deserve that much love??? Well guys...
Allah has given our mothers a high status in Islam, greater than found in any other religion or ideology which is one of the very few facts that makes our religion soo unique! which is why He says: "Paradise lies under the feet of your mother." Allah loves us and cares for us,especially those who love and care for others.likewise, he becomes very angry with those who hurt others in any way. He knows that in this world, no one is more loving and caring towards another person than the way a mother is to her child.
We should take extreme care of the sentiments, habits, temperament and likes and dislikes of mothers. We should not even imagine being rude and disobedient to her. By serving and obeying our mothers we can be sure of earning the favor of Almighty Allah.
Apart from Allah, no one knows what our mothers really does for us...
